With a vision of delivering top-quality service and building lasting customer relationships. Guided by the philosophy of “Fix It Right,” Midwest quickly became a trusted name, recognized for its dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
Starting with a modest four-bay shop on the border of Mississauga and Oakville, Midwest initially catered to the automotive and retail industries. Its reputation for fairness and quality service grew rapidly, and to meet increasing customer demand, the company introduced a mobile mechanic service, bringing professional-grade repairs directly to customers—a concept that redefined the transportation industry.
As Midwest grew, so did its capabilities. The operation relocated to the Ontario Transportation Centre, providing easy access to Southern Ontario’s major highways and enhancing convenience for its customers.
Today, Midwest operates through several focused divisions, each specializing in key areas of the transportation industry. Midwest Trailer Service remains central to the operation, supported by a dedicated Collision Shop with advanced paint and sandblasting capabilities. The Mobile Service division has been modernized to provide comprehensive fleet management and data analytics. Additionally, the Midwest Truck Centre, located at a second site within the Ontario Transportation Centre, addresses all aspects of the power side of the business.
Now part of the Somerville Group—an organization serving the GTA since 1950—Midwest continues to uphold its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
